HTC will be bringing the HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 multimedia smartphone to the O2 network, which will have surround sound capabilities and Xbox LIVE integration.

The HTC HD7 will feature a high resolution, 4.3-inch widescreen. It will have a 1GHz processor and surround sound to add to the multimedia experience.

It will run on the Windows Phone 7 platform and will feature a ‘Tile and Hub’ interface, which can be customised to display the most relevant information to the user.

The HD7 will have Live tiles on the Start menu, which update dynamically to let users see the latest messages, status updates and stock information.

Users will also be able to download HTC apps from the HTC Hub.

The handset will also feature support for Exchange email and Microsoft Office. Microsoft’s Zune service will let users download movies and music straight to their handset or they can sync it with a PC.

The HD7 will include Dolby Mobile, SRS surround sound and 16GB of memory.

It will also feature a 5-megapixel camera and HD (720p) video capture.

The HD7 focuses on gaming with Xbox LIVE integration. It will offer a large range of games on the Marketplace, the ability to play phone-to-phone or phone-to-PC and to upload scores to online leaderboards or Facebook.
