The launch of Rupert Murdoch’s upcoming iPad-only newspaper The Daily is reportedly to be delayed for another few weeks.
The news service was going to be released on 19 January, at a press conference, which was going to include a guest appearance from Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
However, according to All Things Digital, News Corp. has pushed back the launch to give Apple time to amend its new subscription service for newspapers sold through iTunes.
The subscription will reportedly use a “push” feature, where iTunes charges the user on a weekly or monthly basis for the publication and a new edition appears each morning on his or her iPad.
The delay will reportedly only last weeks, as opposed to months.
