News Corp’s iPad newspaper, The Daily, won’t be seeing a release until early next year.
According to All Things Digital, sources have said that Rupert Murdoch’s iPad-only newspaper will be published around 17 January.
The tablet paper is said to have “tabloid sensibility with broadsheet intelligence.” It will sell for 99 cents a week and will contain lots of video.
As it’s a subscription-based publication, iTunes will automatically bill customers on a weekly or monthly basis, letting a new edition appear every morning.
Murdoch has hired 100 editorial staff for The Daily, who will work on the 26th floor of the News Corp offices in New York.
