Logitech has introduced two new folio covers for Apple’s iPad mini tablet computer, one of which comes with a built-in keyboard.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for the iPad mini uses a Bluetooth keyboard and has iOS shortcut keys, such as cut, copy and paste. On a full charge, the keyboard cover can provide up to three months worth of battery life.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio is expected to be available in Ireland in September 2013, for a suggested retail price of €79.99.

The Logitech Folio Protective Case for iPad mini is made from protective, water-repellent materials and doubles as a stand that holds an iPad mini in several positions.

The Logitech Folio is expected to be available in Ireland in September 2013, for a suggested retail price of €49.99.

“We designed our new folios to complement and celebrate the mobility of the iPad mini,” said Bobby Kennedy, international key account manager at Logitech.

“Complementing Apple’s sleek and clean design aesthetics, both folios are thin and light for added appeal, yet still offer the protection you want for your tablet.

“Taking things a step farther with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for iPad mini, we’ve matched Logitech’s deep expertise in creating comfortable typing experiences with an ultra-thin design for convenient typing on the go,” Kennedy said.
