In a drive to encourage teachers to embrace computing which in turn would enrich student experiences in the classroom, Microsoft has unveiled a new offer for teachers that will see the price of Surface RT tablets start at €155.

Educators and schools will be able to buy a 32GB Surface RT tablet for a discounted price of €155, excluding VAT. A Surface RT with a Touch keyboard will cost €196, excluding VAT, and a Surface RT Type keyboard will cost €228, excluding VAT.

Currently, Surface RT devices generally sell for around €479, including VAT.
