An ad from Carphone Warehouse suggests the Motorola Xoom 2 could be released in Ireland by Christmas, costing €399.90 for the Wi-Fi version.

Engadget reports that the ad says the successor to the Motorola Xoom will have an 8.2-inch display and will run on Android 3.2.

This model may have 16GB of storage and may have Wi-Fi connectivity.

The initial Motorola Xoom was the first Android 3.0 tablet and was released earlier this year. In its recent quarterly results, Motorola said it shipped 100,000 Xoom tablets in the last quarter.
