The Motorola Xoom tablet, which runs on Android 3.0, is available from O2 in Ireland today, costing from €629 on prepay and billpay.

The Xoom includes Google’s tablet OS – Android 3.0 Honeycomb and – features a 1GHz dual-core processor. It also has front-facing and rear-facing cameras.

It has a 10.1-inch, 1,280 x 800 widescreen HD display and has HDMI support.

Its mobile hotspot capability provides an online connection for up to five other Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

The Xoom offers the latest in Google services, such as Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction and supports a beta of Adobe Flash Player 10.3.
