Neustar, a provider of registry services which manages the registry of the .us domain name on behalf of the U.S. Department of Commerce, has today announced its campaign to spur small business innovation in the US.

Neustar said its aim is to encourage small businesses to get online quickly using the .us top-level domain.

Today the company said it was also launching a ‘Dream Big’ competition for small companies to kick start their online businesses. Companies in the US, whether they have a .us domain or not, can enter the competition.

Neustar itself provides real-time information and analysis to the internet, telecommunications, entertainment, advertising and marketing industries globally.
