Apple will officially unveil the next iPad on 7 March in San Francisco, California, confirming previous rumours suggesting it would be revealed on this day.
Apple sent invites today for the event in the US, which highlighted the screen of the device. This implies that the next iPad will have a high-resolution Retina Display.
Many rumours have been circulating about the next iPad, though nothing will be confirmed until Apple reveals the device itself on 7 March.
Reports have previously suggested that, along with a Retina Display, the next iPad will have a quad-core Apple A6 chipset, will be slightly thicker and may have 4G LTE connectivity.
