Nikon reveals 8 new COOLPIX cameras

Nikon will be releasing eight new COOLPIX cameras in September, include a rugged camera, a camera with a built in projector and a 3D camera.

Nikon COOLPIX P7100

The Nikon COOLPIX P7100 includes a wide angle lens with a 7.1x optical zoom.

It features a tilting 3 inch LCD screen and a 10.1 megapixel 1/1.7 inch sensor with improved low light performance.

The P7100 has an EXPEED C2 image processing engine to allow for enhanced move recording and maximum image quality.

It can record 720p HD video and includes a built-in HDMI port to allow users to connect the camera to a HDTV.

The Nikon COOLPIX P7100 is available from 22 September and costs €580.

Nikon COOLPIX AW100

The Nikon COOLPIX AW100 is Nikon’s first ever rugged camera, designed for outdoor use.

It’s waterproof to depths of 10m, shockproof from heights of up to 1.5m and freezeproof from temperatures to -10 degrees Celcius.

The AW100 has a 16 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor and features a wide-angle 5x zoom lens.

It can shoot full HD video with stereo sound and four blur reduction functions.

The rugged camera also offers panoramic 180 and 360 degree photos.

The Nikon COOLPIX AW100 is available from 8 September and costs €383.

Nikon COOLPIX S1200pj

The Nikon COOLPIX S1200pj includes an integrated projector which is compatible with a PC, Mac or iOS device to let users beam images and movies onto a flat surface.

Its projector output is 20 lumens and can display images from 26cm to 152cm in size.

The camera has a 14 megapixel CCD image sensor and can record 720p video with stereo sound.

It also has a wide angle 5x zoom lens with four blur reduction settings.

The Nikon COOLPIX S1200pj is available from 22 September costing €464.

The Nikon COOLPIX S100 has an 18.1mm wide body with a 3.5 inch OLED screen.

It has a dedicated 3D shooting mode which combines two images taken from different positions to create an image suitable for 3D monitors.

It can also shoot full HD movies with stereo sound and has a wide-angle 5x zoom lens.

The Nikon COOLPIX S100 is available from 1 September costing €290.

The Nikon COOLPIX S6200 features a 10x wide angle zoom lens and a 16 megapixel image sensor.

It features numerous filter options, such as soft focus, fisheye and sepia.

It can record 720p HD video with stereo sound and has a high ISO of up to 3200 for taking photos of fast moving objects.

The Nikon COOLPIX S6200 is available from 22 September costing €209.

The Nikon COOLPIX S8200 has a wide angle 14x zoom lens with a backlit 16 megapixel CMOS image sensor.

It can shoot full HD video with stereo sound and has a fast auto focus feature.

The camera is available in black, red, silver and white.

The Nikon COOLPIX S8200 is available from 22 September costing €325.

Nikon COOLPIX S6150

The Nikon COOLPIX S6150 is equipped with a wide-angle 7x zoom lens and a 16 megapixel image sensor.

It includes a 3 inch touchscreen and features in-camera picture editing.

The camera comes in violet, pink, black and red.

The Nikon COOLPIX S6150 is available from 1 September costing €185.

The Nikon COOLPIX S4150 offers a 14 megapixel image sensor.

The camera is 0.8 inches thick, weighs 128g and includes a 5x optical zoom lens.

It has a 3 inch LCD screen and four blur reduction functions.

The Nikon COOLPIX S4150 is available from 1 September costing €162.
