Irish band Kodaline is set to play the fifth in a series of Lumia Live Sessions from Nokia in a yet-to-be-revealed location in Dublin on 17 July.

Fresh from a performance on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury this past weekend, the four-piece band from Swords has been announced as the hot ticket for the first Lumia Live Session in Dublin.

Nokia has teamed up with La Blogothèque, a web-video project documenting unique and intimate music performances, to showcase hot new musical talent through the Lumia Live Sessions. These free gigs takes place in unusual settings across the UK and Ireland, with previous sessions recorded in a boxing ring, a skatepark and a cemetery.

Up to 150 people will have the chance to see Kodaline’s semi-acoustic performance at a unique, secret location in the band’s hometown, which marks the band’s first performance in Dublin since the release of its debut album, In a Perfect World.

Kodaline fans can apply for tickets through the Nokia Ireland Facebook page until Saturday, 13 July.
