Panasonic has released new applications for its Viera TVs along with two updates for its cloud-based internet service Viera Connect.

FETCH TV and Vimeo are two new video apps for the platform. FETCH TV gives consumers on-demand access to movies and specialist TV channels and Vimeo lets users view uploads to the video-sharing website through their TVs.

iConcerts has been added, which includes a library of live music concerts, music shows and documentaries.

The new iFit app lets users access this website, which customises fitness plans for users, and a Social TV app lets users interact with Facebook and Twitter while they watch TV.

There are six new gaming applications: Black Jack Royale, ZapTap, Moggles, Cosmox, Brain Trainer and PlayJam Gaming.

Viera Connect has now been updated, with BBC Big Screen News upgraded to suit high-resolution TVs. TV catch-up app Nova.cz has been renamed Voyo in this update.

The new services are available on Panasonic’s 2011 line-up of Viera TVs.
