ALICANTE – Philips revealed the Fidelio SoundSphere docking speakers, combining AirPlay capabilities and sharp sound quality.
Philips unveiled the new sound system at the IFA Global Press Conference.
The Philips Fidelio SoundSphere has a curved design of separate speakers, with free-floating tweets on top of them to produce a deeper and wider audio impression with minimised interferences.
Its docking speakers can access a user’s iPod touch, iPad, iPhone or iTunes from a Mac or PC wirelessly, meaning the user doesn’t need to plug in their device to the system to play music.
Top sound quality doesn’t come cheap, however. The Philips Fidelio SoundSphere will be available next month for a hefty €799.
