Samsung N120 netbook arrives in Ireland

Samsung’s N120 mini-notebook with full-size 12-inch keyboard and large trackpad goes on sale in Ireland today.

The N120 has an integrated SRS 2.1ch system with two 1.5-Watt stereo speakers and a dedicated sub-woofer, making for a high-quality sound experience.

With a long-life 6-cell battery, this netbook has a robust battery life of up to 10.5 hours (based on factory specification).

It runs on an Intel Atom Processor N270 and comes with a 160GB hard drive and 1GB memory.

The operating system is Windows XP Home, and the netbook has Bluetooth 2.0, three USB ports, an Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi on board, as well as a 1.3-megapixel webcam.

The LCD screen is a 10.1-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) SuperBright Gloss LED backlit, and the keyboard has Samsung’s patented anti-bacterial coating.

The N120 starts at €469 (inc VAT) and is available from Peats, the Laptop Shop and Elara Oline.
