Samsung’s latest smartphone, the Wave, which has high-def video recording an impressive AMOLED screen, will go on sale in Ireland from 1 June.
The Samsung Wave will be going on sale with all the main mobile operators – O2, Vodafone, 3 and Meteor, as well as through the Carphone Warehouse.
As the first phone to run on Samsung’s Bada mobile operating system, the Wave will launch on the same day as the Samsung Apps store, which can already be browsed by developers.
Samsung Ireland has already been working with developers here in Ireland to come up with Ireland-specific apps with local appeal as well as running a global apps challenge with a US$2.7m prize fund.
