Samsung’s super-thin 3D TV hits shops in June

25 May 2010

Celebrating the official launch of its range of 3D television sets here in Ireland, Samsung unveiled the C9000, an ultra-thin 3D LED TV that measures only 7.93mm thick.

The C9000 will be in electronics stores in Ireland next month and will be available in three different screen sizes: 40 inches, 46 inches and 55 inches.

This LCD TV screen isn’t just super thin, it’s also super slick, with a brushed aluminium frame that would give a die-hard luddite a case of gadget envy.

If it comes with the same goods as the C9000 demoed earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas then it will have a Wi-Fi remote control with an interface similar to that used on Samsung mobile handsets.
