Apple revealed the iPhone 5, which includes a 4-inch Retina display and A6 processor, after weeks of rumours about the new device, at a press event in London and San Francisco yesterday.

The consumer tech giant also unveiled improvements to its iPod range, with major upgrades for the iPod touch, iPod Nano and a refresh for the iPod Shuffle. Even iTunes is getting a facelift.

The new iPods and the iPhone 5 haven’t even hit the shops yet, but responses to the iPhone 5 announcement hit the internet as soon as details about the handset were made public.
