Sony Ericsson will launch two new phones in Ireland later in the year – the Mix Walkman for music and the Txt Pro for messaging.

Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman

The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman has a 3-inch, 400 x 240 pixel WVGA display and a 3-megapixel camera.

It comes with a “Zappin” key. When listening to music, users can press this to preview the chorus of the next track.

The phone also includes a karaoke function which lowers the vocal track of a song to let users sing along.

Users can also change the colour bands on the phone to suit their look.

The Mix Walkman includes TrackID to identify music, Wi-Fi connectivity and Facebook and Twitter integration.

Sony Ericsson Txt Pro

Sony Ericsson Txt Pro

The Sony Ericsson Txt Pro includes a 3-inch screen with a 3.2-megapixel camera and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

It has an integrated friends application, letting users add five friends to see their updates from their Facebook and Twitter feeds.

The Txt Pro has Wi-Fi connectivity and will be available in pink, white or black.
