Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini goes on sale

The cute and compact version of the Xperia X10 is here in Ireland and goes on sale through O2, Meteor, 3 and the Carphone Warehouse.

From free on contract and from €229 on pre pay, the Xperia X10 mini is one of the smallest and most lightweight Android smartphones on the market.

Smaller than a credit card, measuring 83.0 x 50.0 x 16.0 mm and weighing only 3.1-oz the X10 mini has MicroSD support for up to 16 GB, a phone memory of 128MB and comes with the Sony Ericsson overlay that has four-corner touch activation.

Coming in black, pearl white, silver and red the X10 mini is a stylish and handbag/pocket-friendly alternative to bigger Android smartphones and of course can take all the same Market apps but has the Sony Ericsson user interface, which includes Timescape for pulling together al of your SMS, email, calls, Twitter and Facebook communications.

The Sony Ericsson interface also includes the ‘infinite button’ for music so that related video, online music tracks and other web content for a particular artists is pulled into one place.
