A fair share of information has leaked about Sony’s latest range of smartphones of late, but now there’s even a video of the company showing off the devices.
In an interview with a French journalist for Clubic, Olivier Terme – Sony Mobile Communications’ director of marketing – uses handsets that he identifies as three Z5 models: the Z5, the Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium, the latter described as the company’s latest “flagship”.
All three have had a fair share of information leaked about them in the past few days, with the Premium variant looking like what appeared on Twitter at the start of the month.

It looks like all three phones have a 23Mpx camera with fingerprint sensors, much like previous leaks suggested, with two-day batteries to boot.
The video claims the Z5 Premium has a 5.5in 4K LCD screen, with 5.2in (Z5) and 4.6in (Z5 Compact) described, too.
It’s only a few weeks since a sort-of-but-not-quite Z4 device was launched, with Sony’s conveyor belt of premium device releases continuing apace.
The full release is expected in a couple of days, when the IFA gets underway in Berlin.
