Spotify’s music app launches on Windows 6 platform

Microsoft has launched the popular Spotify music app on its Windows Phone 6 platform, paving the way forward for the music app to appear on Windows Phone 7 devices due to launch in the coming weeks.

The Spotify app is already available on iPhone, Android and Symbian devices. It is available to Windows Phone 6 users with a Premium Spotify account.

The app on Windows Phone 6 will come with all the standard Spotify features, including music streaming over Wi-Fi or 3G, playlists, running Spotify in the background and playing in offline mode.

The app is available to download from m.spotify.com or on Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
