Steve Jobs to collaborate on biography – report

16 Feb 2010

What’s the link between Apple boss Steve Jobs and Einstein? Well it looks like they’re both going to share a biographer, with reports that Apple CEO Jobs is set to collaborate on a new book about his life.

The former managing editor of Time magazine Walter Isaacson, who had also penned two best-selling biographies, Einstein: His Life and Universe and Benjamin Franklin: An American Life, has secured Jobs’ support for a new biography, the New York Times reports, citing two people briefed on the project.

The paper says that the book is in early planning stages at the moment and will purportedly cover Jobs’ entire life, from his adoptive childhood in Silicon Valley to his exodus and triumphant return to Apple.

However, Apple is remaining tight-lipped on the subject, with both it and Isaacson declining to comment, the Times said.
