Police are looking for thieves who made off with US$54,000 (€40,000) worth of Apple computer equipment that has been stolen from the same Apple store in Naperville, Illinois, in the space of five months.

Police said they don’t know if the two incidents are related, but are investigating that possibility.

On Sunday morning, two people wearing gloves and ski masks smashed the front doors of the Apple store, and carried in containers they filled with about US$30,000 (€22,000) worth of Apple goods. Police are reviewing security video from the store.

In the first robbery five months ago, the thieves made off with about US$24,000 (€18,000) worth of equipment from the store, which isn’t in a high-crime area.
