Business and technology consulting giant BearingPoint is to create 150 jobs at its new Global Technology Services (GTS) group based in Dublin, which will provide IT outsourcing services to the company’s European client base.

The company, formerly known as KPMG Consulting, will immediately hire 20 professionals and will increase staff numbers to 150 by 2004. The GTS will provide a range of outsourced IT services ranging from simple staff augmentation to full technology outsourcing and offshore and dual-shore development.

As objective advisors with such advanced implementation resources at hand, our approach offers a compelling proposition to European clients who are demanding multifaceted solutions to be in the right place, at the right time and for the right price.”
