Indigenous Irish technology company, Buy4Now Technology Group, is set to create 20 new jobs over the next two years in a major R&D and export programme with support from Enterprise Ireland.

The company currently employs 65 people in Sandyford and the new jobs are high-value positions, including software programming and senior software engineers.

“The R&D support from the state agency demonstrates the quality of the offer Buy4Now Technology has in the e-commerce market and our technologies now being supported with further R&D is exactly how the ‘knowledge economy’ becomes tangible and successful,” said Michael Veale, CEO.

“Buy4Now Technology Group is a great fit for Enterprise Ireland support as an example of software-led export growth.”

Track record

The group has had a highly successful track record in the US market over the past number of years and growth plans include enhanced software deployment into the international markets.

“Buy4Now Technology Group shows the value of investment in R&D to generate internationally recognised products and services, creating Irish exports as well as high-end jobs,” explained Jim Cuddy, Finance and Enterprise Software Department, Enterprise Ireland.

The Buy4Now Technology Group will create the high-value jobs in Dublin, with Enterprise Ireland backing their entry into the UK market. The group announced it has opened a London office to facilitate its business development plans.

Buy4now Technology Group’s clients include Superquinn, Three, Roche Bros (USA), Arnotts, Woodies, Elverys and RTE, and it recently won the contract to develop Irish fashion retailer Pamela Scott’s online shopping site and a high-end site for The Carphone Warehouse.
