Northern Ireland financial software group First Derivatives announced it has secured £4.3m in funding from the North’s development agency Invest Northern Ireland.
First Derivatives said the funding will be used for the creation of 350 new jobs over the next three years.
“The grant will enhance the operational infrastructure and near shore capabilities necessary to support the increasing demand for its consulting services,” the company said.
First Derivatives, which is headquartered in Newry, is a publicly held company, trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE FDP.L) and Irish Stock Exchange.
The company has continued to expand its service offering and now has operational bases in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia to service its global client base. It is recognised as one of the fastest-growing capital markets service providers in the world.
First Derivatives now employs more than 450 people worldwide.
