75 jobs for Dublin as Mason Hayes & Curran expands

2 Oct 2015

Mason Hayes & Curran law firm is on track to create 75 new jobs in Dublin by the end of 2015.

On the back of continuing strong growth in corporate law, dispute resolution and financial services, Mason Hayes & Curran has announced that, by year’s end, the firm will have recruited 75 new personnel across a variety of roles, from lawyers to support staff.

Speaking in support of the announcement, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, said: “Today’s announcement by Mason Hayes & Curran that the firm is recruiting 75 extra staff during 2015 is very welcome.”

The firm’s hiring push began earlier this year and will continue until the end of the year.

Commenting on the recruitment, Declan Black, Managing Partner at Mason Hayes & Curran, highlighted the role professional services play in Ireland’s economic growth.

“The contribution of the professional services sector in Ireland to employment and growth can sometimes be overlooked. The sector provides a major direct contribution to the economy, and is also highly influential in supporting foreign investment by complementing the State’s initiatives and providing a sophisticated level of service to international corporates, which is on a par with anything they experience in their home jurisdictions,” said Black.

Growth at the firm has been strong, with revenues increasing year-on-year over the last 10 years. Turnover increased during 2014 to 25pc, bringing it up to €60m.
