Citrix Systems Ireland, the headquarters of Customer Technical Support and Education Services in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has made two senior appointments in Dublin, marking ongoing growth, with the company hoping to hire more staff this year, the company announced today.
The company has appointed Niall O’Mahoney as senior manager to lead the overall technical relationship management (TRM) business in EMEA, while Denis Neavyn has been appointed as senior manager to lead the EMEA technical support sales team.
As senior manager for the technical relationship management business in EMEA, O’Mahoney is responsible for managing the premier level of technical support and technical account management to Citrix’s enterprise-level customers. He has extensive international business experience, having recently held the position of director of global business operations at Xilinx Semiconductor in San José, California. Prior to this, O’Mahoney was director of business management at Xilinx Semiconductor Ireland. He has also held positions at Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard in Germany. O’Mahoney has a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from University College, Dublin.
Neavyn will manage the sales of customer support services EMEA in his role as senior manager, customer technical support sales, EMEA. Neavyn has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, having previously held the position of sales director EMEA at FINCAD, a provider of financial analytic tools and services. Prior to joining FINCAD, Neavyn worked in a range of management positions with Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft and Digital Equipment. Neavyn holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Dublin City University.

The senior appointments will support the continued growth of Citrix’s services business in the EMEA region. Citrix in Ireland is expanding progressively, adding numerous staff in 2010. The company also has plans to recruit for a number of new positions this year.
