Cork-based CoreHR to create up to 300 jobs across Ireland

CoreHR, a HR software company, announced the creation of 300 jobs at its offices in Dublin and Kilkenny, and its headquarters in Ballincollig, Cork.

Founded in 1982, CoreHR hasrisen to become one of the world’s largest providers of HR software and technology, specialising in cloud-based human capital management and payroll software for companies including Pfizer and Primark.

Now, the company has announced plans to double its workforce over the next three years by creating 300 jobs in its offices in Cork, Dublin and Kilkenny, plua a small number in its UK office.

Updated 12 July 2016 at 12.17pm: A spokesperson speaking on behalf of CoreHR confirmed that the 300 jobs announced will all be based in Ireland. Of that number, 180 will be based at its headquarters in Cork, followed by 70 in its Kilkenny office and 50 at its Dublin office. Additionally, between 20 and 30 jobs are to be created at its London office, with recruitment for these positions beginning immediately.

Varied roles

Detailing what these roles will be, CoreHR said that the vacancies will cover a wide variety of positions including product and development, professional services, customer support, sales and marketing.

The near-doubling of its workforce comes after a 12-month period in which it achieved revenue growth of 30pc having agreed deals with major international firms.

Speaking at the announcement at the company’s Cork headquarters this morning, John Goulding, chief executive of CoreHR, said: “We have carved out a strong presence across a wide range of sectors to become a world leader at the forefront of developing innovative HR software solutions.

“After a number of years of strong performance, including 30pc revenue growth last year, I am very much looking forward to the next stage of our success story, to expanding our talented team and to continuing our global growth strategy.”
