Deloitte opens ‘office of the future’ in Galway, highlights open positions

10 Jun 2016

Deloitte has officially opened its ‘office of the future’ in Galway, a venture initially announced in September of last year.

At the time the Deloitte Galway office was first announced, 30 new positions were announced alongside. While 20 of those have been filled as of now, the professional services and consulting firm is still offering opportunities at all levels.

According to Gerard Casey, audit and advisory partner at Deloitte Galway, “Over the last number of months, we have built a strong and experienced team in our Galway office… We are still interested in hearing from ambitious people, who are similarly enthused about making a real impact for both indigenous and multinational businesses in the Galway region.”

Future Human

The new Galway office will office the full Deloitte suite of services, with a particular focus on audit, accounting and risk advisory, tax, corporate finance and restructuring, and company secretarial services, and the company hopes to build a team proficient in these areas.

The firm is also looking for candidates with experience in the life sciences, and property and real estate sectors, following growth in these industries.

“This is a sign of our commitment to the area, which is an important economic hub for the vast array of medical technologies and ICT companies, and the many indigenous companies that are present,” said Brendan Jennings, managing partner of Deloitte.

The new offices follow an ‘office of the future’ model, featuring contemporary desk and open plan meeting spaces, formal client meeting rooms, and the latest technology and communications.
