19 jobs at Effective Software after €1m funding round

10 Aug 2015

Effective Software, an Irish technology start-up in the health and safety sector, has just raised €1m in funding, with staff numbers expected to more than double over the next two years.

Bringing an overall value of €3.3m to the company, the latest round of funding was raised by AIB’s Start-Up Accelerator Fund through ACT Venture Capital.

The Boole and Bloom investment syndicates, as well as Enterprise Ireland, have also supported the company.

Providing compliance management systems, Effective Software has an office in the Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin, as well as another office in London.

“We’re a sales-orientated company and the intention is to grow that aggressively. There’ll be investment in building the sales team in Dublin,” said Darragh Geoghegan, chief executive of the company.

“On the back of that, we’ll be looking at heavy investment in the tech side of things.”
