Electrical giants Currys and PC World are to create up to 30 new jobs and bring occupancy at Manor West Retail Park in Tralee, Co Kerry, to 100pc for the first time when they open up shop at the park.
“At a time when unemployment is at an all-time high, it is great to see new jobs being created in the Tralee area and a large multinational showing great confidence in the region,” said centre manager Derek Rusk.
Currys and PC World will have occupancy in the 10,000 sq-foot unit.
PC World Ireland is part of DSG Retail Ireland. Along with Currys, it operates 28 stores in Ireland and is the country’s largest electrical retailer by turnover.
Kieran Ruttledge, of Tralee Chamber Alliance, said having major retailers like Currys and PC World locate in Manor West Retail Park will give people yet another reason to shop and visit the town.
