Independent governance services firm Glass, Lewis & Co is opening a European operations centre in Limerick with IDA Ireland support, which will create up to 15 jobs within a year.
Glass, Lewis & Co serves institutional investors worldwide that collectively manage more than $15trn in assets. Founded in 2003, it is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington, DC, and Australia.
The new Limerick office is the fifth in Glass Lewis’ global network and will focus primarily on serving institutional investors throughout Europe.
“Over the past five years, we’ve experienced tremendous demand for our global governance services. The new operations centre in Ireland will enable us to enhance the vote management services we provide our 900+ institutional investor clients worldwide and to bring a new dimension to our European research and recommendations,” said Katherine Rabin, chief executive officer of Glass Lewis.
IDA Ireland CEO Barry O’Leary said Glass, Lewis & Co was a welcome addition to the international business services cluster operating from Ireland.
“The company will create up to 15 jobs in the first year with potential for additional employment, and will provide excellent employment opportunities in client services, IT and finance in the midwest region. This investment follows on from a series of recent job announcements for the Limerick area,” he said.
