Independent News & Media (INM) is expanding its digital production wing with the creation of 40 new roles in its Dublin office.
Much of the roles cover a range of digital sectors, including multimedia design, product management, mobile engineering, technical architecture, UX design and digital sales specialisation.
The company has said the roles are to be based in its headquarters in Dublin city centre, where the successful applicants will be responsible for digital content creation, distribution and various advertising solutions across the INM Group.
INM’s new digital team is headed by Fiona O’Carroll, who has been trying to develop the digital content of the media group in the face of a rapid decline in physical newspaper sales globally.
“Building this high-performance digital team is central to our strategy at INM in order for us to grow our business both at home and globally. Our world-class team has allowed us to expand our offering to both our customers and partners alike and so we are looking for more digital risk takers to help us continue this growth,” O’Carroll said.
