Mobile Travel Technologies (MTT) has announced plans to create 10 jobs in Dublin over the next six months.

The Irish software company, which has doubled its headcount in the past year, provides mobile travel solutions to airlines, hotel and travel intermediaries, made the jobs announcement this week and is hoping to fill at least five developer roles immediately – as well as filling additional roles over the next six months.

Commenting on the company’s growth, Gerry Samuels, founder and executive director of MTT, said: “Mobile is set to be the biggest force for change in the travel industry since the worldwide web.”

The company, based in the Digital Hub, Dublin, has developed a smartphone application for Abacus (an Asia Pacific travel reservations system that supports more than 15,000 travel agencies) to enable travel agents to manage customer bookings via mobile.

Job applications can be sent to hr@mttnow.com.
