Javier Ortega, sales manager at Dropbox EMEA in Dublin, talks about the company’s search to fill a wide range of positions in the Irish captial and London.
Dropbox set up in Ireland about 18 months ago, but ongoing expansion by the company sees the need for consistent recruitment in both its Dublin and London offices.
In Dublin, the cloud storage company is focused on expanding its efforts around Dropbox for Business and making its services a part of millions of European users’ lives.
“It’s pretty challenging filling any position,” said Ortega, “because we’re looking for top performers, no matter what function they’re doing.”
Specifically, solutions architects are hard to find because Dropbox looks for the best, those that understand the business side as well as the IT side.
However, the warm environment at Dropbox in Dublin, no doubt having trickled down from its head office in San Francisco, California, means the company is a very attractive proposition for jobs candidates.
