In our Look Inside series, Derek Finnerty, practice director with Storm Technology, describes the roles his company is looking to fill, and the growing need for business intelligence attributes.

“My thought about 2015 is there is demand across all the business areas we would work into,” says Finnerty.
“So software developers, then there will be big demand for business intelligence and data warehousing-type resources. We will be looking for people with good business analyst skills, we certainly want people who can marry tech to business.
“We are putting an emphasis, in the coming year, into the strategic consulting space. We will be looking to hire higher-end consultants, perhaps with 15-20 years experience, coming from specialist areas, such as how you apply IT to finance solutions, how you do IT compliance, how you apply IT security.”
