24 Feb 2014

We spoke to Michael Flynn, from Trinity College Dublin’s (TCD) MBA programme, about what it does to help IT professionals take the next step in their careers.

Flynn is director of TCD’s MBA programme and was at Career Zoo in the Convention Centre Dublin on 15 February to speak to people about the benefits of taking up an MBA programme and why it is much more than just a means of training for industrial management.

TCD’s MBA is the highest-ranked programme of its kind in Ireland and is also the 35th ranked business school in the world. Many regard the programme as a potential career development option for those working in technology.

According to Flynn, people who have more than 10 years of experience have taken part in the programme.

“It gives people is the ability to take time out of their career if they’re doing a programme full time and recalibrate for what they want to do next, whether be it in the same career or a total career change” Flynn said.
