NYSE Euronext, a global operator of financial markets, is recruiting for 20 graduate positions at its Belfast subsidiary. The financial technology company, which operates the New York Stock Exchange amongst other multiple securities exchanges, set up its Belfast technology arm in 2010.

NYSE Euronext is now seeking 20 graduates to take up roles at its Belfast hub. Successful applicants will become part of a team working across the US, Europe and Asia to provide integrated trading solutions for the global capital markets community.

The positions will be in the areas of information security, quality assurance, R&D, customer support, IT operations and human resources, according to Helena Woodward, HR business partner at NYSE Euronext.

“The company has grown significantly over the last two years to meet the demands of the industry and this brings fantastic opportunities for both local graduates and experienced professionals, for who we are also recruiting,” she said.

To tie in with the Thanksgiving celebrations in the US last week, NYSE Euronext organised a graduate roadshow and visited both Queen’s University Belfast and University of Ulster to talk to students about opportunities at the company’s Belfast office.
