O2 Ireland has announced the appointment of Edel O’Leary as communications director with responsibility for driving the O2 brand in Ireland, internal and corporate communications, public relations, corporate responsibility and sponsorships. Since 1997, Edel has held several marketing roles within 02 and most recently was responsible for the migration and launch of the 02 brand in Ireland. Prior to joining O2, Edel worked in a marketing consultancy, Frank Nolan and Associates, as an account director on various clients including Guinness and Waterford Crystal.
