Clinical diagnostics company Randox Laboratories is to create 30 production jobs at Randox Teoranta, its subsidiary in Donegal, on the back of an €8m trade agreement with a healthcare company in Mexico.
Randox Teoranta, based in Dungloe since 2008, is a manufacturing and research facility that produces Randox Laboratories’ clinical chemistry analysers, The Irish Times reported.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Irish President Michael D Higgins will sign the deal between Randox Teoranta and Central de Diagnostica e Industria today.
Under the agreement, Randox pioneering laboratory products will be delivered to clinics and hospitals across Mexico over the next two years, and 20 new jobs are to be created at Central de Diagnostica e Industria.
