Having seen significant growth in the past year, international software development company TEKenable has relocated to a new office in Dublin, made a new appointment to its board of directors and now plans to create 10 new jobs in the coming months.
The company has not moved far from its original Dublin 2 base, but the new location offers substantially more space. Space which TEKenable now plans to fill with 10 new staff members.
All of the new jobs will be based at the corporate headquarters and will include roles in software development, testing and project management. The company expects recruitment to be completed within the next six months and this will bring its staff count in Ireland to 30.
Noel Walsh now operations director
Over the past year, the firm has developed businesses in Qatar and Kuwait and has also won significant projects in Ireland. The new developments come on the back of this growth, as well as the appointment of Noel Walsh as operations director.
Walsh has 14 years of experience in IT delivery and, with TEKenable, he has been involved in delivering projects for customers in the financial, retail, public and private sectors in Ireland and abroad. This will help him in his new role, where he will be responsible for the management of all projects.
“Noel’s appointment, along with the new jobs and our new corporate offices, marks a new chapter in the growth and maturity of the company as we grow our business across EMEA,” said TEKenable managing director Nick Connors. “Noel’s skills are recognised by everyone in the market as world-class and we are very confident he will play a key role in our growth over the coming years.”
