Microsoft
If you’re looking to get your start as a software engineer, Microsoft has a paid software development engineer internship with benefits on offer. The intern will work with the Windows Azure Infrastructure Europe team for up to 12 months.
Candidates should have top coding skills in C# or C++ and must be interested in learning and creating new applications for the cloud. They should also be current undergraduates or should be about to graduate from an undergraduate, master’s degree or PhD.
Microsoft has other software engineering roles advertised, such as software developer in test for the TV team. Successful applicants will collaborate with different teams on broader test initiatives as part of its IEB TV business.
Candidates should have a bachelor or higher degree in computer science or equivalent experience, three years of experience in software design or development in C++ or C# programming and three years of experience in test design.

For those looking for senior roles, Rainmaker Business Technologies is looking for a senior software engineer for a permanent position based at its offices in Sandymount in Dublin. The successful applicant will have experience in the .Net ECO system with advanced knowledge of .SQL Server 2005/2008.
