20 jobs by international certification body to include Dublin, Cork

17 Feb 2014

International certification body i3PT Certification is to create 20 jobs in Dublin and Cork over the next three years on the back of a €400,000 investment.

The company, which specialises in independent third-party certification of fire and life safety systems in the construction sector, will also create some of the new jobs in London.

The €400,000 includes iHPSU (high-potential start-up) funding from Enterprise Ireland.

“i3PT Certification has assembled a world-leading team of experts with international experience in engineering and compliance. We have also developed best-in-class audit procedures and proprietary software to deliver quality assurance in an industry crying out for some stability,” said i3PT Certification CEO Eoin Leonard.

Leonard said demand from the UK and Middle East for independent fire certification means the future is looking bright outside of Ireland.

“We are spending a great deal of time in the UK, Saudi Arabia and UAE with healthcare and industrial clients, particularly,” he said.

“Demand is driven both by the building owners and also by some of the world’s top engineering and architecture firms.”

i3PT Certification’s software includes a cloud-based dashboard called CertCentral. This proprietary audit software platform allows design teams and clients to view reports which are digitally uploaded from a site by i3PT’s site inspectors.
