25 new jobs at I.T. Alliance as previously shelved tech projects re-emerge in economy

31 Aug 2015

Dublin cloud outsourcing player I.T. Alliance is to create 25 new jobs as part of the expansion of its project management group. It said that across the economy firms are dusting down previously shelved tech projects, resulting in new opportunities.

Hiring for the new roles will commence at Career Zoo in the Convention Centre, Dublin on 12 September.

The company said revenues from project management services are on course to reach €10m.

Some 50 project management staff are employed across I.T. Alliance’s various divisions and in May its sister company Auxilion invested €800,000 in a new project support service.

Confidence returns to Irish economy, leading to surge in tech projects

“As confidence returns to the economy, many organisations are looking to dust down and rapidly implement ICT projects which had previously been shelved during the recession,” said Dermot Hore, head of project management operations at I.T. Alliance.

“At the same time, many organisations are looking to consolidate their technology, which had previously been implemented on an ad hoc, uncoordinated basis due to budget pressures during the recession.

“Companies of all sizes are using the opportunity to make the leap from traditional on-premise software to cloud solutions such as Microsoft Office 365,” Hore said.
