50 IT jobs announced as IIS Group grows yet again

25 Jun 2015

IIS Group, a Dublin-based business that provides business management software, has announced its hiring 50 IT personnel.

Following on from a jobs push for 30 staff earlier this year, that brings it to 80 in total hires in 2015.

The skilled appointments will be filled in the SAP Gold Partner’s headquarters in Ireland and in other offices across the UK, the Netherlands and Poland.

“At the end of last year, the IIS Group announced plans to create 30 new positions to supplement our European and global activities,” said Morgan Browne, chief executive at IIS.

“All these positions are now filled and based on our 40pc growth so far this year, IIS now requires a further 50 people to satisfy demand.

“This has been driven by the economic upturn both in Ireland and on the continent. We’ve seen that companies are now confident in investing in IIS solutions based on SAP technology and the long-term benefits this can deliver to a growing, ambitious enterprise.”

Browne predicts a “raft” of new jobs next year, too – total employee numbers, after these 50 are hired, will be 150.
