Irish-headquartered international consulting engineering practice Byrne Looby Partners is to create 50 jobs at its offices in Ireland and abroad to service its international customers.
The new jobs, which are part of Byrne Looby Partners’ growth strategy, include 25 jobs in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast, and 25 roles at the company’s international offices in the UK, North Africa and the Middle East.
Byrne Looby Partners has begun recruiting for engineers, project managers and business development and support staff, and aims to have the jobs filled over the next 18 months.
“We are actively looking for talented people that will help to continue to grow our business,” said Michael Looby, joint managing director of Byrne Looby Partners.
“We have expanded significantly over the past five years through a targeted international growth strategy and have put plans in place to progress this further. We look forward to hiring people who will continue our tradition of hard work and engineering innovation.”
The company, which recently expanded its water and infrastructure services division, employs 84 people across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, including a team of 59 in Ireland.
Enterprise Ireland, which supports Byrne Looby Partners through the Jobs Expansion Scheme, has been working with the company over the past four years to help the firm expand its business internationally.
