Fidelity Investments was one of the many fintech companies with a presence at Career Zoo in Dublin, tapping into the the wide pool of job-seekers.

Regina Sullivan, EVP, global business services at Fidelity Investments, spoke to Siliconrepublic.com at Career Zoo recently about the importance of diversity in all areas of STEM.

Just before Christmas, Fidelity Investments revealed it is opening a new Dublin office that will bring 200 jobs, with plans for more roles in the future.

The American company originally set up operations in Ireland in 1996, with encouragement from IDA Ireland, and Fidelity Investments now has offices in Dublin and Galway. Since 2012, the firm’s presence has grown significantly, with confirmation of further plans to grow its Irish operations to more than 900 employees in the future.
