CORE Software to expand its team in Cork

7 Feb 2013

Software provider CORE Software, based in Mitchelstown, Co Cork, is starting the year with plans for expansion following a number of new client wins in 2012.

CORE Software has been in business for more than 30 years, supplying software solutions to the wholesale, merchant, retail and agri-business sectors in Ireland, focusing on medium to large-sized organisations.

With the need for more process efficiency in mill management, the expected change in milk quotas in 2015 and the continued requirement for efficiencies across POS and distribution within the co-pp sector, CORE has initiated a programme of extensive work with customers to prepare for these changes.

For this, the company will be expanding its service and development teams and recruiting development and technical services personnel for Oracle tools development, database administration, quality assurance and testing.

“It is with great satisfaction that CORE Software has seen several new customers progress implementations in 2012 and the early part of 2013. This is as a direct result of our dedication to the agri-business sector and we have great plans for the future with several new initiatives that will continue to show that our customers have made the right choice, and provide for additional employment within the sector,” said Joe Walsh, CEO of CORE Software.
