More developer jobs in Ireland with EssentialSkillz adding 30

E-learning business EssentialSkills is planning to double its workforce in Galway over the next year, bringing in 30 new jobs in areas like programming and product implementation.

The company provides compliance eLearning solutions to blue-chip companies and SMEs around the world, with almost all its business coming from exports.

EssentialSkillz is looking for PHP and Javascript developers, as well as product implementation managers, with the expansion taking about two years to complete.

“We are delighted that our efforts over the last 14 years have lead to such substantial growth and contribution to Galway’s success as a main technology hub,” said CEO Tony Dervan.

“We are currently working on the next major version of our compliance eLearning platform and we are very interested in hearing from talented developers who would like to be involved in this leading edge development project.”

The company, based in The Hub in Galway Technology Park, was established back in 2001 and currently has offices here as well as in the UK and US.

Its best-selling product is ErgoWize, a cost-effective and time-saving DSE training and risk assessment software solution.
